Performance Evaluation of Mobile Sensor Network
Main Article Content
Abstract
The field of pervasive computing has recently proliferated with a view to providing applications and services that are able to adapt to the rapidly changing situations in dynamic environments and act accordingly. The adaptation to contexts and the alterations of behavior require the applications to implement mechanisms for acquiring the context information. The applications that are context-aware utilize the context information of the surrounding environment to adapt their behavior according to the current situation. The applications might also require the context information to provide relevant information or services to a human user or to another computing entity. One trend that can be observed is that sensors are becoming part of mobile and wearable devices. Commonly the nodes consist of a radio transceiver and a microcontroller powered by a battery.
