Design Analysis and Simulation of Resonant Inverter for Induction Heating Process
Main Article Content
Abstract
A power electronic inverter is developed for a high-frequency induction heating application. The application requires high power for induction melting process of the electric furnace. This power-frequency product represents a significant challenge for today's power semiconductor technology. Voltage source and current source inverters both using ZCS and ZVS are analyzed and compared. To attain the level of performance required, different resonant topologies will compare and analyze.
