Abstract

People are an organization's most important and distinctive resource in the competitive world of today. Every individual possesses unique resources that cannot be duplicated .Consequently, companies must use this knowledge to gain a competitive edge. Through competence mapping, the company can learn more about a worker's abilities, character, and general performance. This method aims to continuously assess performance on both an individual and group level. It is employed to ascertain the essential characteristics (knowledge, abilities, and attitudes) needed to carry out organizational tasks successfully. The categories, capabilitiesbuilding strategies, and goals of competency mapping are examined in this study
