Abstract

By combining Internet of Things (IoT) technology with flow sensors, level sensors, MQ3 gas sensors, and buzzers, a
smart sewage monitoring system may be developed, which improves urban infrastructure. Sewage conditions may
be monitored in real-time with this technology, which can identify issues including overflows, clogs, and dangerous
gas accumulations. To avoid overflows, the Level Sensor measures the level of the sewage, the Flow Sensor follows
the flow of the sewage to find obstructions, and the MQ3 sensor finds harmful gasses including carbon monoxide
and methane. The buzzer is an early warning system that makes sure dangerous situations are dealt with quickly.
This technology boosts efficiency, improves public health, and decreases environmental threats by delivering real-
time notifications and remote accessibility.
